My life in a day.

 

Thinking back on Easter.

 

Good Friday, a day of brokenness, death, and shadows in the valley.

Christ on the cross, dying.

Holy Saturday, a day of uncertainty and despair.

Christ in the tomb, dead.

Easter Sunday, up from the darkness, light.

The tomb is empty, Christ is alive.

The next day, what now?

I live, but not I.

 

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

 

That particular verse has been niggling at me for much of my life. No, I don't have it figured out. But the older I get the more I understand at least a little of it.
