There are two primary overlooks for the Hogsback on the west side of the gorge. The trail follows the rim on around. This view from the south overlook is the reverse of the first photo below from the north overlook. (The Genesee River flows south to north, emptying into Lake Ontario at Rochester.)

 

Milady dropped me off at the dam overlook then drove down to Hogsback to read a book.
