Scene XVI - Heat

It was Ten O’clock and Sebastian came to visit. He was still ashamed and remained very quiet. I said to him that I want an explanation now and he started to explain how he had promised to Vincent to keep an eye on me and to find out where the package was. He knew it was wrong to act behind my back but he didn’t have any options. After all he didn’t want me to get hurt and he thought it was better if he found out more about Vincent so he could protect me if it was something dangerous.
I wasn’t yet sure if I should believe his story or not, but I felt like he was honest so all I could really do was to believe his words – for the moment. Paul was still angry at Sebastian and I felt hurt. The only person I had really trusted had failed me. Since that episode our relationship between Sebastian and me had changed totally and it was clear that anything special we had was over.
He left to work and I stayed with Paul. We decided to lighten up the mood a little and went out. He took me to an old amusement park. He took my hand while we walked and I could see in his eyes how he was sparkling inside when he was with me. The feelings were real and there was no doubt in him. It was like we had known each other for an eternity and everything we felt was comfortable. No acting, no games. I felt free and happy. In the park we didn’t go to the rides and we just enjoyed the fresh air, each other’s’ company and the people around us. It was good to have a day off after all that drama we had experienced.
In the late evening, before going back to Paul’s apartment, we went to a classic club. He led me to a passionate dance while the band was playing Argentine tango. The seducing movement, the fire between us and the strength was present in those moments we shared. It was like foreplay. Later at night he took me back to his home and we didn’t speak a word. Chemistry had strengthened between us and the heat was everything we cared about as we surrendered to it. His slow and burning touches took me out of this world to different spheres and I couldn’t or didn’t even want to resist him. He had awakened the feline inside of me.
