My goals for the remainder of this season are to throw a Personal best and finish in the top 3 at the NACAC meet.

 

Goals (Long Term) / Buts (à long terme):

My long term goals are to represent Canada in the Pan American Championships which take place in my home town Toronto next summer and to become an Olympian in 2016 and or 2020 and beyond.

 

Track and Field Mentor / Mentor en athlétisme:

My current mentor is also my coach, Jason Spalding. He is the former Canadian Jr. Record holder in the Javelin and also represented Canada internationally. Another mentor is my first coach and close friend Shane Risto who is a Paralympian and world championship medalist. Shane introduced me to the sport and guided me to my first National team.

My family is full of throwers. My mom Sandra threw the javelin in high school and my father Paul threw the shot put. Also, my older brother Adam throws the discus and was a member of the 2011 Pan American Jr. Track and field team. Finally, my younger Sister Dara throws the javelin and hopes to compete for Canada one day.
