Wind down from your work week and enjoy an evening outdoor happy hour filled with live music, locally made craft beer, and food from your favorite small businesses at Flower Avenue Urban Park.

This Acoustics and Ales, Montgomery Parks is partnering with local Long Branch neighborhood organizations Discover Long Branch, MHP, Long Branch Business League, CHEER, and Reliable Cleaners to bring you this free, family-friendly event.

Inside the park La Casita Pupuseria will have their food truck, Silver Branch Brewing and True Respite Brewing Co. will serve up their house-made brews, and Clayboys Shave Ice will provide dessert.

Take the crosswalk to the other side of Flower Avenue and order to-go from El Gavilan and El Golfo’s outdoor serving stations. Bring your carry-out concessions back to the park to enjoy live music from local Irish Latin band La Unica as they take the stage from 5:00 to 7:30 pm.

What do Led Zeppelin, Men at Work, and Despacito have in common? All are covered by La Unica. A Washington, DC-based five-piece band that plays carefully-selected covers and originals in a high-energy style that turns shy guests into party animals. La Unica’s outstanding musicianship and unique “Irish Latin Rock” style greatly expands the band’s repertoire. The Washington Post called La Unica a “pan-genre party band”, and their fans call them “exciting”, “creative”, and “high-energy”. A celebratory atmosphere at every live show, La Unica will catch you by surprise as you’re invited to dance, laugh, and join the fun.
