Tuesday, April 23
Check in, plan your own dinner, bring from home or buy prepared food in Waimea or Lihue
6:00 p.m. Meeting for all at the CCC Mess Hall. Bring your desserts, after dinner drinks and come prepared to entertain or be entertained. Check with Tom about parking at the mess hall. The roadway is narrow and cannot accommodate all our cars.

Wednesday, April 24
Hike (8:30 a.m.): Nu’alolo from Awa’awapuhi (9 miles) Logistics will be discussed at the Tuesday meeting.
Alternate hike(s): Nu’alolo or Awa’awapuhi part way (1 hour in – 1 hour out), Kaluapuhi,
Other: Trail scouting by car. Kokee Museum.

Thursday, April 25
Hike (8:30 a.m.) Alakai Swamp Trail from Pihea (11 miles round trip) or Mohihi Road (7 mi round trip)
Alternate hike(s): Kaluapuhi, Water Tank Trail, Pu’u ka Ohelo Trail,
5:00 p.m. Drive to Shenanigan’s (Pacific Missile Range Facility) Need to leave Kokee on time to be at PMRF at 6:00 p.m., everyone will need to have a photo ID, drivers need rental car info

Friday, April 26
Hike (8:30 a.m.) Kukui Trail (5 miles round trip) into Waimea Canyon and possibly on to Waimea town for a total of 11-12 miles.
Alternate hikes(s): Possible hike into Waimea Canyon from Cassel home, other activities

Saturday, April 27
Halemano-Kokee, Kumuwela, Canyon Rim to Waipo’o Falls, then Black Pipe Trail back to the cabins.
Alternate hike(s): There are a few shorter versions of this entire hike,
Dinner at the Kokee Lodge (No host cocktails 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., dinner at 6:00 -8:30 p.m.)
