LMNTL variance

by jwc 3o2

"LMNTS" is a forthcoming landmark anthology celebrating a 6o+year history of extralinear writing in Canada.
this set of photographs & scans consists of outtakes from our editorial procedures that began in november 2o22 & are now finished. the editors are Daniel f.Bradley, Hart Broudy, jwcurry & Marshall Hryciuk, all of whom've been practitioners of various forms of extralinear writing (concrete poetry, visual poetry, sound poetry, etcet) since their entries into the Canadian literary logoscape.
it will be published in Toronto by Nietzsche's Brolly in the spring of 2o25. no stranger to the unconventional, Nietzsche's Brolly has previously released 2 such genre-specific anthologies ("Idioms of 'Krete" in 2ooo, "October is DADA Month" in 2oo9), as well as significant collections of visual literature by Bradley ("N.F.B."), curry ("can't afford no Kodak Instamatik Instamatik vlm.2") & Gustave Morin ("A Few Poetry") among others.
"LMNTS" will include 125 works by 8o Canadian writers/artists with the unique stipulation that none of it can have seen print in any previous such Canadian genre-specific collections (of which there have been over 4o since 1965!). as such, it is entirely unrepresentative of canonicity & will act as a wider-ranging crosssection of work exploring beyond the laneways of linear normalcy than has thus far appeared.
the works in this set are shown in their found habitats, as they appeared on covers, posters, postcards, or just out in the world. some are variant workings or other pieces from the same sequence as something we're using (specifics in the descriptions).
it is hoped that all of it will prompt some interest in our final object.
