The irregular galaxies Small and Large Magellanic Clouds (SMC and LMC, respectively) are visible towards the middle of the time-lapse sequence. Very Large Telescope, Paranal Observatory, Atacama Desert, Chile, 23-24 Aug 2009 (Nikon D700).
