BTW in case you are wondering the title has nothing to do with this picture. MJ tribute week.
It was an epiphany, all in my head. I was glad it came out the way i wanted. Inspired by a movie I had watched earlier last week, although that was of an Industrial building with an exhaust fan turning ever so slowly and rays of light entering the building throgh the rotating fan! So i had to adapt..The hardest thing was capturing the dust in focus with the rest of the image sharp and getting the right exposure. The dust was collected from around the garden shed where this was shot and sprinkled from the top.
PS: This was a very tough shot for me, specially to capture the dust in a dark room. Had to keep the image as dark as possibe with a fast enough shutter speed to capture the dust static. very tricky! Right throughout I was thinking "It's easier said than done"!
self timer, had both hands busy with the dust sprinkling!
