Im nördlichen Abschnitt zwischen Bodø und Rognan führt die Nordlandsbahn fast immer mehr oder weniger direkt am Fjord entlang. Auf einigen Abschnitten verläuft die Strecke dabei quasi direkt am Strand. Bei Valnesfjord passiert 312 002 mit dem Gt5790 nach Trondheim einige Fischerhütten.
In the northern section between Bodø and Rognan, the Nordland Railway almost always runs more or less directly along the fjord. In some sections, the line runs almost directly along the beach. At Valnesfjord, 312 002 with Gt5790 to Trondheim passes some fishermen's huts.
Mit einem KLV Zug war die 139 312 hier im Inntal bei Niederaudorf auf dem Weg nach Kufstein. Dort wird der Zug umgespannt und es geht weiter zum Brenner.

I went back to the lantern patch for some clippings. This branch looked so warm basking in the morning sun. Most of them were covered in frost.
312 005 hat mit dem Gt5781 aus Trondheim vor wenigen Minuten das Containerterminal von Fauske verlassen. Dort wurden die meisten Wagen abgehangen bzw. schon einige Container entladen. Für das Reststück bis nach Bodø ist der Zug daher nur noch recht kurz und auch nicht vollständig beladen. Am frühen Morgen des Polartages zeigte er sich auf dem Damm bei Nordvik.
312 005 left the container terminal in Fauske a few minutes ago with Gt5781 from Trondheim. Most of the wagons have been left there and some containers have already been unloaded. For the remaining stretch to Bodø, the train is therefore only quite short and also not fully loaded. In the early morning of the polar day, it showed itself on the dam at Nordvik.

The remains of Alberton Court, Manchester. It was in the news recently when demolition was halted due to collapsed scaffolding.
Alberton House was built around 1973. The architects were Leach, Rhodes, Walker.
2025 has seen the demolition of several mid-century buildings. I have photographed three of them, Robin Hood Gardens in Poplar, East London, the Yorkshire Bank Building in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and this one.

Güterzug 5792 hat am 14.06.2023 erst wenige Kilometer seiner Reise von Fauske nach Trondheim geschafft, als ich ihn mit 312 005 von Cargonet bei Setså ablichten konnte.
In June, spring arrives in northern Norway, and many trees are already aglow with fresh green leaves. Freight train 5792 had only covered a few kilometers of its journey from Fauske to Trondheim on June 14, 2023, when I was able to photograph it with Cargonet 312 005 near Setså.

Einen gemüselandwirt mal beid er arbeit an zu treffen gleicht eher wie ein 6er im Lotto. Nach 30 Minuten war er auch wieder fertig, hier beim pflügen mit einem Fendt Farmer 312 LSA und einem 4 Schar Beetpflug
312 020 ist als R4437 vom österreichisch-slowenischen Grenzbahnhof Spielfeld-Straß auf dem Weg nach Zidani Most. Erst vor wenigen Sekunden hat er die Grenze überquert und wird in Šentilj gleich den ersten Halt auf slowenischem Boden einlegen.
312 020 is on its way from the Austrian-Slovenian border station Spielfeld-Straß to Zidani Most as R4437. It crossed the border only a few seconds ago and is about to make its first stop on Slovenian soil in Šentilj.
