Monday Cocktail Hour: The Coal Train #cocktailrobot -•- I was waiting for my lunch at the little deli near work (I went to the office! (OMG!!)) and my pal Mark texted me this cocktail recipe because he knows it has many things I adore. 1. Amargo-Vallet 2. Bananas 3. Rye 4. Funky Rum This recipe appeared on #VinePair and was credited to Evan Hosaka 1.25 oz. Rye (@woodinvillewhiskeyco ) 0.75 oz. Rum (they called for Clement 10 yr Rhum Agricole. I went @lamaisonandvelier Clairin Vaval Haitian Rum!) 0.50 oz. creme de banana 0.25 oz. @royalvallet Amargo-Vallet Stir with ice. Strain onto handsome ice cube in handsome @amoryamargo glass. Express and garnish with lemon peel. Pretty fun. I think the wild card in this cocktail is most definitely the rum.
