Designed to provide easy step by step tips, including advice on products and how to install and use them, helping to make you and your property that little bit safer.
Most of us use social media! In fact, you may even be reading this on one of the many sites out there. It's a great communication tool that's really revolutionised the way we connect with people. There are also some BIG risks too but these can be minimised by following a few simple pieces of advice, you can find some of the key points in this video but it's worth doing your own research too!

For advice about keeping children safe online, or if you want to report someone who is behaving suspiciously towards a child online, contact the Child Exploitation & Online Protection Centre at www.ceop.gov.uk or phone 0870 000 3344.
If there is an immediate risk call 999! If it's not an emergency call 101. You can also report illegal online content to the Internet Watch Foundation at www.iwf.org.uk/report

Always call 999 in an emergency, such as when a crime is in progress, violence is being used or threatened or where there is danger to life.
You can also call anonymously with information about crime to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Crimestoppers is an independent charity who will not want your name, just your information. Your call will not be traced or recorded and you do not have to go to court or give a statement.
