I pierced these in October, and when I do checks I always add about a 1/4 to "flush jewelry length" to accommodate for swelling, and bundle into the initial price two shaft downsizes. With her check thickness and potential swelling I had to pierce her with inch shafts and today was her second and downsize, flush with no tightness, was 7/16. That insane craziness.
