For those of you joining our read-along, how are you enjoying The Eye of the World so far? I had to reread the first chapter a couple of times because I was distracted at the beach, but once I hit chapter two I was invested! (But no wonder I was intimidated- look at the size of that book, and there are 14 plus a prequel!) . . I'm up to Chapter 8 now and it seems like the story has been nonstop action. I love the setting of Two Rivers and can practically taste those Honeycakes. I think Rand is going to be a great protagonist and is very relatable so far. Looking forward to seeing where his adventures lead. . . Having a little bit of a hard time remembering all the character names but imagine (hope) that will get easier as I go.
