Popcorn Trees
Just returned from an eventful week in the winter wonderland of Central Lapland. I had a great time with lots of activities like dog sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and relaxation by having a sauna or reading a good book in front of the fireplace.
Good weather conditions for photographing were unfortunately very limited. It was on the last day, when the weather gods had mercy and the sky cleared up for a while. Immediately after breakfast I took my snowshoes and hiked to the frozen "popcorn trees" of Luosto Tunturi. I arrived there just in time to enjoy and capture this moments of dazzling beauty.
