Visual Music exhibit demo and closing reception at 868 Estate Vineyard with Tristan Welch on ambient guitar
It turned out to be a beautiful day for art and music at 868 Estate Vineyards! This afternoon was the closing event for my Visual Music exhibit, and I was joined by Tristan Welch on ambient guitar, while doing a painting demo. I’m extremely thankful for Tristan driving all the way out west today, to join us, as much of the work in the show was the result of a recent collaboration between the two of us that will eventually be released as an album (stay tuned!). I’m also so grateful to Andrea Cybyk and Nancy Deliso for giving me the exhibit and allowing my work to grace the walls of 868. It has been an extremely positive experience that is ending with some recent exciting news that 21 of 26 pieces in the show were sold! It still hasn’t quite sunk in, I think. I also need to thank my always incredible wife Kris, who is always there for me, who documented today’s as well as yesterday’s event, and who keeps me going when I need it the most.
