This bird was along for the ride.
Jake spotted a single buffalo in the road. Before we knew it, he was joined by an entire herd headed toward the watering hole. Such an incredibile experience!

Our vist to the Hoedspruit Engangered Species Centre started with a trip to the "Vulture Restaurant." It reminded me of the elehant graveyard in the Lion King. And smelled horrible. And attracted all the ugly birds. Fun times!
As much as birds can gross me out, it was cool to see them fly in like a plane with landing gear.
The marabou stork is also part of the "ugly five." They blush when they're excited and feeding. The stand over 5 feet tall with a wingspan of over 10 feet.
