The challenge this week in 52 weeks for dogs is black & white, outside. So here is Miss Taivas, resting for a few seconds on one of the many little bridges we have in the New Forest. I had tried all the way on our circular walk to get some pics but it was this one, near the end, that I liked best.

Processing in MS Digital Image:
I deepened the hues slightly using a deep blue before changing to black and white, then upped the contrast a little. Added a white layer and used the transparency brush to reveal most of the image underneath. Flattened the layers. Added a simple white frame and a narrow dark edging. Copied and pasted the whole picture and added a soft rag filter to the copied image. Revealed Taivas in the image below using the transparency brush at 100%. Flattened the layers again and then softened the edges.
