Castle Beach FD
SFR Rescue 11
Studington Fire Rescue has placed Rescue 11 in service! Modeled after FDNY rescues, Rescue 11 serves the downtown area of Studington alongside Truck 11, Battalion Chief 2, TSU 11, and Utility 11. Staffed by 5, Rescue 11 responds to working fires, MVAs, technical rescue calls, and other incidents where people need to be rescued.
Builder’s note: Rescue 11 was actually built right after I finished FDNY Rescue 1, but it was only now that I finished the decals 💀 Anyway, building this has given me a ton of new techniques to ingratiate into future builds! I do wish 1x3x4 doors were a bit cheaper and had more variety colorwise, so unless this changes, you mostly likely won’t see me do slam doors on my future builds. Also, in case you didn’t know, I’m a huge fan of the E-ONE/Saulsbury rescues that FDNY ran, and in my own humble opinion, FDNY should’ve gone with E-ONE for their rescues, although I’m not mad that the next batch will be Seagraves. This rescue is what I envision if FDNY stuck with E-ONE instead of going to Ferrara.
Technical specs:
2025 E-ONE Cyclone II 25’ walk-in heavy rescue
500-hp Cummins X-12 engine
Allison EVS 4000 automatic transmission
Federal Signal Vision SLR lightbar
