Smoky Sunset
This is one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen. I was lucky enough to photograph it on my last night in the Smokies, last year, and was thrilled that I was able to capture the image. That said… the image in my camera didn’t line up totally with what my eye saw. This was no fault of my camera and no fault (hopefully) of the photographer- I just thought the sunset looked so much smoother and vibrant in person than it did on screen. Happily, though, I’m getting better and better at editing in Lightroom and now I feel that this picture finally reflects what I saw on that glorious night in the mountains.
