Blue in Green (my 1st explore!)
'Blue in Green' is one of my favorite jazz ballads. It was composed (at least officially) by Miles Davis and first recorded for his famous 'Kind of Blue' album on march 2nd (!) 1959.
#LPT13WK9: The initial idea for this weeks quest was to take it literally and combine the music sheet and pars of the album cover in a photo setup. But I sucked at it. So I changed to a different topic and a macro technique materialgirl40 came up with some days ago (thanks for the inspiration an the video link, Gretchen).
HMM: I admit the link to the week's theme 'music' is a bit through the back door. Coming early for monday, but posting it on march 2nd was too compelling.
strobist: Single YN460 top left of the frame and slightly behind the camera, about 1/2 m off. Wireless triggered with YN603s.
