Operation Distinguished Games
On this very date in 2004, during Operation Distinguished Games, SACEUR, Gen. James L. Jones #USMC, paid a short visit to FOB Aktion, Greece. He addressed deployed Component personnel, who had the opportunity to meet with him. The E-3A, E-3D and the E-3F Components provided 24-hour coverage of Greek airspace for 28 days with a total of 520 hours of station coverage. #NATO #TBT #Throwbackthursday
