Fire Truck #2 on College Street
Fireman Morris Bridges is sitting on the YCFD truck #2 along with his niece. The photo was taken around 1940. The truck is sitting in front of the original Firehouse #2 located on College Street. This building was torn down in the early 1950's and replaced with a brick firehouse. The truck was also replaced about the same time with a Series 700 American LaFrance pumper. Firehouse #2 was closed in the 1970's. The women on the truck and next to the truck are not known.
