North Leg Signal
A position light "pot signal" governs all northward movements from CSX's Pope's Creek Subdivision to Amtrak's #1 main of the Northeast Corridor at Bowie MD. Behind the signal can be seen the Bowie interlocking tower which once controlled the movements at CP Bowie. The tower was replaced by a centralized dispatching center in Delaware known as CTEC sometime in 1987. In the mid 1990s the tower and two other structures were acquired and moved to their new locations by the City of Bowie and are now part of the Bowie Railroad Museum.
