Local men in the Karakum Desert. Turkmenistan.
So I was standing in the middle of nowhere looking down into a collapsed gas mine when I hear solid techno beats. I turn around and four old dudes jump out of a red car, local techno anthems blasting on their stereo system. They walked up to the crater, looked down, tried to socialise a bit (as you know Russian ain´t my strongest card to play) and then headed off, techno music still pumping.
How awesome was that moment you may ask? Mighty awesome, I say.
