1/100 - Stephen

Stephen made a fatal mistake.

Ok, I'd prevaricated long enough, bought all the gear that I 'need' to take part in this project, got my Moo cards. Nothing left to do except take the photos.

I'd had a previous attempt at this but didn't quite find the right person in the right place. For some reason it took me a while to realise a better strategy would be to find a good location and look for someone to photograph there rather than go hunting.

That's when Stephen made his mistake.

I'd found a good location and was looking for a subject. Stephen was heading in my direction and made eye contact. Fatal.

Had I known it would be this easy to convince someone to take part in this project, I would have started sooner. Although I suspect this was more to do with Stephen's willingness to be involved rather than anything I had said.

I don't have a lot of background info on Stephen except he is a technician and once had his photo taken with Neil Lennon (I think he's one of the Beatles :) )

So thank you Stephen for making this an easy start for my part in this project and I hope you like the portrait.

This picture is #1 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
