It's been a really tough week, each morning coming down the stairs and he's not been there to greet us or in the evening walking back and forth because he wants his walk. The lack of his presence in the house is something that's going to take some getting used to. Someone did say to me how they can't have another dog after the heart break of losing two of theirs; which really is something I understand. We have 5 left in the pack but, my gut tells me we'll keep rescuing because the heart break is worth all this awesome moments you have and we're also giving them a chance, a chance to enjoy life and feel that love. I've gone through some photos of him and so glad I've captured some of him with varying compositions and moods. They really do fill me with warmth, with what we did for the big lad. He loved his time with us. I remember getting told not to allow him on the sofa.... Yeah right! He loved the sofa and he'd earned it after his racing days.
