Coca-Cola was invented by John Pemberton (pharmacist) - Originally intended as a patent medicine. Its world-famous logo was created by his bookkeeper, Frank Mason Robinson, and introduced May 8, 1886. The writing style used, known as Spencerian script, was developed in the mid-19th century and was the dominant form of formal handwriting in the United States during that period.
