06: Grand Tower
Weekly Animation VI: Grand Tower, folded
Here are the CP and photos from Friday's animation! The instagram aspect ratios kinda butchered the pics, so I'll be more diligent getting the right scale next time. It hasn't been an issue for the circular or square pieces, but for the longer ones it's an extra step.
This is from the "Splitter Series", which has one or more vertical creases down the paper (always an odd number), then a reflection crease that travels up until it hits the array and then down on the other side, giving it a mountain or tower effect. Then there's another reflection crease at a shallower angle, and gives the mountain more width. This continues until I'm satisfied with the result. This one has some more complexity, but fundamentally it's that concept.
