Stranger #05/100 Tone Mette (Explored Apr 17, 2013 #287)
After a week with no strangerhunting I was back on the streets trying to find my fifth stranger. I spotted this girl on Karl Johan Street. Her knitted cap and mittens cough my attention and I knew she would be a great stranger. I was happy to see that she had a knitted sweater under her jacket to. She had a real spring theme going on. Perfect for an April strangerportrait.
I asked for her portrait and she was a little reluctant at first, but as soon as I told her about the 100 stranger project she was happy to let me take her picture. I don’t know if she done some modelling in the past, but she was a great model to work whit. I find some strangers hard to photograph as they sometimes put on a nervous smile or are simply feeling awkward in front of a camera. Her pose was great and I’m really glad I got to shoot her portrait. Somehow I forgot to ask her name. I’m really sorry I forgot as I would love to put a name to her face. I post some of the stranger portraits on my facebook whit a link to the 100strangers group. After a couple of minutes an old school body told me she knew her. And I got her name after all:-)
This picture is #05 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
