October 18th is National Pierogi Day! My bull terrier is being reckless, stealing a pierogi (a good-sized one, too!)!
Did you know the Pierogi originated in medieval Poland but may have been brought there from the Ukraine? Ultimately, it was probably inspired from similar dumpling recipes that came out of China via the Silk Road.
