Ariane Space space launch rocket - Euro Space Center (Transinne/BE)

Ariane - a heavy-lift space launch vehicle rocket developed and operated by Arianespace for the European Space Agency (ESA) launched from the Centre Spatial Guyanais in French Guiana. It has been used to deliver payloads into geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) or low Earth orbit (LEO). The Ariane 5 first launch was in 1996 and completed more than 100 launches and a direct successor system, Ariane 6, is in development. Ariane 6 will cost about €70 million per flight or about half of the Ariane 5 current price...

Details

Transinne - Euro Space Center

 

Euro Space Center - a science museum and educational tourist attraction located in Transinne, Belgium. It is devoted to space science and astronautics. The centre includes simulators of space flight and micro-gravity, various space craft models and space exploration objects. It is also the home of the only full-scale mock-up of a U.S. Space Shuttle existing in Europe, named Amicitia.
