After not getting the comet photo I was looking for, I decided to call it a night. I decided to just try a quick shot of the milky way right behind me. I turned around, took a test shot, and when I looked at the display I found our kids staring at the Milky Way just like this (it was so dark I didn't even see them otherwise). I yelled some profanities to myself praising whatever deity you might believe in, yelled some more for them to not move, and fired off several of these. This is shot #2 of a dozen or more.
