Grove City
With wind chills below -20 and darkness rapidly approaching, BNSF #1687, one of the few BN greens left in the entire state of Minnesota, leads three other EMD motors east on H-WLMNTW through Grove City on the former Great Northern mainline towards Minneapolis. #1687 was built BN #6356 in 1973, one of over 800 SD40-2s built for the Burlington Northern. The fourth engine, #55, is a TEBC6 rebuilt from a CB&Q SD9 frame.
