It Came Through Berwyn

The honorary #2740 leads the R-CHI457 on its return trip across the Racetrack as it rolls through suburban Berwyn after a relatively quick turnaround at Western Avenue. #2740 was built GN #3007 in April of 1963 in nearby La Grange; it was one of seventeen EMD GP30s built for the Great Northern and was rebuilt by EMD into GP39E standards in 1989.
