At the Top of the Stairs

More of the Tempodrom, (West) Berlin's legendary event venue that started off in 1980 in a real circus tent, and found its final shape in the form of a building "crowned" by a 37 meter (121 feet) high concrete roof construction reminiscent of the original tent. The interior houses two so-called arenas, a small one that offers seating for 450 visitors, and a big arena that provides space for up to 4,000 people, the "Liquidrom" (a spa with a pool of 13 m/42,6 feet in diameter), a bar, and a restaurant. Foyer included, the Tempodrom's interior has a space of 7.860 m²/ 10,76391 sqft.
Taken this Easter during an epic photowalk with m_laRs_k and magrit k.. The POV is a little quirky here, it was one of the first captures I'd taken when we approached the Tempodrom, but I still like the loftiness of the roof as seen from a certain distance. It somehow looks as if it were ready to take off or perform a pirouette any minute.
Happy Thursday Monochrome!
