An oldie from Berlin's Olympiastadion. Every time I flip through my LR catalogue and stumble upon these Olympic Stadium images from 2018, I think "There are a few nice ones from that walk", then I go on and forget about them because I stumble upon other "nice" older images that I might still upload. And the images from that August 2018 photowalk return to their deep slumber... So as not to forget about them for yet another year I spontaneously decided to upload one that looks good in b&w, because today it's (Monochrome) Thursday.

August 2018 had been very hot and sunny, and sunny means interesting-looking shadows as you can see here at the Olympic Stadium's ground floor gallery. The shadow lettering says "Unterring" (lower gallery) and "Oberring" (upper gallery). I was also lucky that three visitors happened to appear at the gallery and walked away from me, so it was easy to add some "human factor" to the scene without the risk of being busted ;)

This photo has been waiting on my hard drive readily processed. All I did today in addition to that was to add just a hint of warmth with the Reflector Efex (soft gold) filter in Color Efex which also helped to slightly brighten the gallery's ceiling.

Happy Monochrome Thursday, Everyone!
