52 in 2016 challenge - #37 - Letters
This is my photo for the 52 in 2016 Challenge - #37 Letters.
When we were clearing out my late brother's unit, I found his old autograph book from 1962 when he would have been 12 years old. I wrote a poem when I was 14 years old -
"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I was born beautiful,
What happened to you"
My father wrote -
"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Carrots are nice,
And so are you"
My mother wrote on the last page -
"By hook or by crook,
I'll be last in your book"
Memories that will last forever.
