Sea Gate - Coney Island - Brooklyn - New York City

Sea Gate is a gated community at the western tip of Long Island, with a fence separating it, and its beautiful beaches, from Coney island. On a clear day, you can see across New York harbor to Staten Island, New York and Sandy Hook, New Jersey.

It was fun to stroll the boardwalk in Coney Island and watch the fireworks every Tuesday night. I remember the delicious knishes and buttermilk at Shatskin's Knishes on the boardwalk.

All this is in Brooklyn, which is King's County, a borough of New York City
