This is one of the appetizers on the way back to the Main Course (Van Hook Falls). This may be my favorite of the five waterfalls you pass along the trail. There are normally several compositions for this one, but when I was last here, heavy rains had gotten the creeks way up and some of the other comps were not really possible. Take a look at all that winter lushness. And that splash pool= if it had a normal winter time flow, it would be a lot bluer than it is.
