9 hours late 24 coacher 'North East Express' & SGUJ WDP4B
It gets dark early in North Eastern parts of India. It was already past 4:00 o'clock in the evening & since I was alone at this small, deserted station, I decided to wind up my railfanning session at Chatter Hat & return back to New Jalpaiguri Jn. which is 20-25 Kms away by road. As I was getting off the railway tracks, I heard honking of approaching train & again went back to the station premises only to see more than 9 hours late running, 24 coacher 12506 Anand Vihar T.-Guwahati "North East Express" powered by #40029 WDP4B of SGUJ (SILIGURI).
