The Churches of New Jersey

Some of the most beautiful and important building in our state are our churches. Weather they are great and magnificent cathedrals or a simple country church each of these buildings play a major role in our lives.

They are where we:

•are brought as babies at the beginning of our life.
•as children learn about our faith and the principals that will guide us.
•as adults we come to join in a relationship with the person we love to begin a new life together.
•and finally to say goodbye to our family and friends.

These building represent our history as a people, who we are, and what we have become.

They stand here today, because our ancestors fought for the freedom to worship as we wish. They were the magnets that held people together and the forces that have drives people apart.

There are architectural gems that have added much to our state, our history and our culture.

There are hundred of these church across the state and it is impossible to capture all of them for this album. So I have taken a small cross section of these churches to represents all them in this album. ENJOY!
