More bad bat news: The horrific 46'C (115'F) heatwave has taken a heavy toll on the bats at Bomaderry – 3000 dead and approximately 100 – into care. If this happens frequently, the bats are in extreme danger of extinction. They will die faster than they can breed, and few if any pups will survive. More details here: www.indiegogo.com/bats-in-need
