Whitehaven Knot Bollards

A series of seven bollards formed into nautical knots. Each is made from three strands of 35mm round bar which are twisted to form the rope section.

The circular base plates have the names of the knots and a rope pattern 'cnc engraved' into them.

The designs include:

Cats Paw Knot

Fishermans Loop Knot

Granny Knot

Larks Head Knot

Mid Shipmans Knot

Weavers Knot

Heaving Line Knot

Each stands at 1.5m and is fabricated in mild steel. The bollards were completed in 2000.
