Peony officinalis 'Rosea Plena' 24W20 6yo Peony T2 (Origin Unknown) (2-DB-PK) Peony, 31in.@ Maturity, PK Medium height, full double, rose pink petals, large guard petals, narrow notched inner petals, fades, carpels visible w/age, no side buds, early bloomer, Hardy to Zone 3-8, Garden T2 (SRC BloomingB) PLTD 2018.
Paeonia officinalis 'Rosea Plena' (Origin before 1907, but could date back to the 17th century) is probably a peregrina x officinalis hybrid cultivar A ancient cultivar also known as the pink 'Memorial Day Peony'. I supposedly have Paeonia officinalis 'Rosea Plena' and Paeonia officinalis 'Rubra Plena'. They look to be the same. They look red.
