My son (almost 6yo) found this particular daisy. I took this picture (with my beloved Diaplan), but he liked much more this other one (that is more detailed)

Stay safe and have a nice evening, dear friends! 🙋♂️
These are Smurf Marshmallows.
My 6yo son loves them... and I confess that I like them too! ;-)
Have a nice evening, dear friends!!! ;-)
Taken in around mid July, the middle of our Winter, earlier in the year.
She turned 6yo on the 28th of November 2018. This date was a guess only as she was rescued as a kitten. But it's very close to her date of birth.
She still acts like a kitten. She's adorable.
Midnight knows Raphael is not well after coming home from dental surgery, he follows him and hangs out with him. I keep Raphael inside a lot to keep an eye on him, and to keep him safe, and so when I let him out, Midnight will always position himself next to his best buddy.
Raphael is doing a lot better but we need to run blood tests to determine if his kidney values have returned to normal or if early kidney disease is prominent for him.
Raphael is eating well and acting and feeling a lot better, he has less energy than he used to have, but he has vastly improved in the last 2 weeks.
Midnight and Raphael. Best Forever Friends.
That strand of Raphael's fur on Midnight's nose is unfortuntate...
My grandson holding one of their informal pets:-) Yesterday it was a lizard and this toad. A few weekends ago my other grandson grabbed a snake. Lucky for him it was a non poisonous one. They are 6yo so they are absolutely obsessed with all living creatures.
Midnight often goes to Raphael for some serious grooming attention. Midnight follows him everywhere.
EXPLORED - THANKS Everyone! It's explored for the 11th January, 2017.
Thank you everyone for all kind comments, your favs, and visit. I try to get back to everyone, but often it's not possible lately and I sincerely apologise.
Hopefully I will have the pleasure at some point to visit all of you who have visited these two guys of mine.
Raphael, He often stands with his toes pointed in and it's so cute.
I'm looking for a permanent home.
I apologize I'm unable to get to flickr or view your photos very often. I miss this.
Wishing you all the best for 2017.
When he joined us in Feb/Mar 2016, we were informed from Battersea that he would approximately be 6yo.
Now, Ai Ai is seen as a high senior cat and I do my best to make him happy every day!
Ai Ai, thank you for coming to us and we will have more happy days together!
I now interrupt the jilted bride sessions for a photo that makes me smile every time I see it. These polkadot shoes belong to Megan, Kari's ever-so-cute 6yo daughter, destined to be a famous model for sure.
Happy bokeh wednesday!

for 365 and February's Alphabet Fun.
This was WAY different in my head.
Also, I sort of cheated and used my voice activated remote (i.e. 6yo son).
Texture was downloaded from flickr a long time ago and I wish I could remember who it's from..... if I figure it out, I'll put the link here.
Today's Random Fact: Today's high was 82 degrees. It's 74 now and all of my doors and windows are open. We had a picnic at the park. I*love*the*desert!
My 6yo daughter took this video, so it's a bit shaky. Lucie does this all the tiime. She likes to stick her head in my pant leg too. Goofy girl!
My beloved Cas passed on yesterday. We got her from the SPCA 12 years ago,the very next day after we moved to this Province. She was already an adult of 5-6yo then. This was a most characterful cat,she had a true BIG personality,a real character-but i am comforted by the fact that she had a long life, and was much loved.
She's six years old and really loves to take pictures!
Meine sechsjährige Nichte hat uns auf einem Ausflug in den Botanischen Garten in FaM begleitet und war begeistert bei der Sache. Sie hat ein gutes Auge und ist herrlich wissbegierig!
The annual Golden Eagle Festival in Bayan-Ölgii Province, Mongolia is a recognition of the Kazakh practice of hunting with eagles and an attempt to foster these skills into the future.
The golden eagles might be the most common birds used by Kazakh eagle hunters, but they are not the only ones: while the eagles are trained to take down foxes and hares, falcons and merlins can be used to hunt smaller birds and animals. Meet: 6yo Aymoldyr and her Saker Falcon (Falco Cherrug). Every eagle-hunting family has a distinctive style of elaborately embroidered hunting costume.

The start of the spinner's sheep's "journey." She does not slide across the channel in a fixed position; she travels west, flipping. Took multiple shots of this so you can "see" it.
All in all, I had a great time making this, and I really, REALLY like this technique. For a technique this simple to look this complex - yeah, baby! (Both my 6yo and DH were very impressed!)
Another thing I liked about making this card was getting to play with white Memories ink. Unfortunately, It doesn't show up very well in this picture, but in person you can see the swirls are shadowed with white. (See Picture #5 or B&W detail shot). You will probably be seeing more of this in the future from me as I really like the effect.
This is our current foster from the Lornich Kennel raid. He's a 6yo (est) Jack Russell with his share of issues. He's shy and trying to learn to trust again. He is available for adoption through All About Animals.
We're home from yet another camping trip. WHEW. Except I did this one with a spraigned wrist and a 6yo daughter who came down with an ear infection in the middle of the night Saturday night, so we left camping dirty and smelly Sunday morning and went straight to Urgent Care. I sure hope that doctor believed me when I explained why we were dustier than usual...

Whilst I was photographing Josie, he came and put his head on her feet, and did a bit of acting for me.
Update: He's dropped out of Explore! His fame was short here.
Lounging in his usual spot outside under the table. There is a towel on a cat bed. The towels get folded inside out, for the second day then into the wash on the third day. They love clean fresh towels to sleep on.
EXPLORED - THANKS Everyone! It's explored for the 11th January, 2017. Raphael and his handsome "hard at sleep" pose just made it into Explore, he might drop out though.

The best part of tonight's lunar eclipse was spending the moment with my 6yo and 3yo sons and realizing that the next time this eclipse will occur again will be when they're 24 and 21 years old respectively.
CH Paradox Gilded Point, or "Gilda", a 6yo female Hungarian Vizsla, on her late-afternoon fun run.
Happy Dog. Common.
My baby, she's 8yo now, she turned 8 in November 2020. She's my baby. She loves to cuddle and purr and suck my top under the covers every night.
My 6yo son was crying on the way to school this morning because _______ (fill in the blank of any reason a child cries) but by the time we actually got there, he was already in a good mood and after a hug goodbye, he was skipping to the playground, flapping his arms randomly, once again happy.
Admittedly I don’t cry often and if/when I do, it’s for something REALLY aweful. In addition, I also don’t find myself so happy that I skip around and sing random songs and gleefully smiling for no reason. My temperament typically falls in the middle most days. Age, responsibility and an external sense of maturity keeps our emotions in check.
… and it’s too bad.
Happy Weekend everyone.
First pic in 2022. It's a birthday present for my 6YO daughter Susan. I have drawn bunch of characters from her favorite cartoons. Let's hope she won't notice I forgot about Spongebob Squarepants driving a boat when she'll recieve it framed today. Happy birthday Susan!
😊🎂

Our beautiful 4 month old snow leopard cubs are actively exploring their world, and everything and anything is a fascination.
And its a joy to watch them!
It was a bird that caught this one's attention this time.
The female cub is called Tashi and the male cub is called Gobi.
Tashi is the Tibetan word for lucky, while Gobi is the name of a large national park in southern Mongolia where the snow leopards are found in the wild.
Tashi and Gobi are the first snow leopards born at RMZ in 20 years, so they are extremely loved and cherished, and will be a source of delight for RMZ staff and visitors for years to come.
The cubs are utterly adorable and gorgeous.
Their mother Meo is a very relaxed mother, and is doing well.
The cubs were born Dec 7 2008 to first-time Mum Meo and Father Leon.
Meo is 6yo, and came to RMZ in June 2003 from her birthplace at Stuttgart Zoo, Germany, and Leon was born at Taronga Zoo in October 2001 and came to RMZ in October 2007.

I had to pick my 6yo up at school yesterday because he threw up in class. He was fine after that. This morning he didn’t want to go to school so he said he was still sick. No fever, no throwing up, so I asked him how he knew he was sick:
Dad, I'm still sick. I know this because only sick people want donuts, and I really want a donut.
Anyone else feeling sick?
This truck was built before the series of four trucks. It was because of this one that my oldest son (6yo) asked me to build him, his brother, and I trucks that are " the same but look different". He said that they all needed the bars.
