Weigela florida 'My Monet' 23W27 Weigela R1- (Verthoef, Bert NL 2006) MY MONET™ Dwarf Weigela, Mature plant size: 1x1ft., PINK, shades of pink, USDA Hardiness Zone 4, Michigan Bloom Month 5c-, In Garden Bed R1 for 4.9 YEARS (Lowes). Planted in 2018.

 

Weigela florida 'Verweig' 'My Monet'. Creamy edged leaves. Sport of Weigela florida 'Tango'. U. S. Plant Patent issued in 2006. Proven Winners. Planted 2014. Noted for its small size, pink flowers and variegated (pink, cream and green) foliage. Seems to be healthy in 2019.

I am not a big fan of Weigela, but this dwarf is okay. It's a small, compact plant with attractive foliage. It is a slow grower. In recent years I have culled several of my Weigela. This one I will keep. It was originally in garden G3. Moved to gatden R2 in 2018. ¿Ground trim in 2022.
