Japanese/ Anemone type flower. Bred by Edward Auten Jr. (1881-1974) Princeville, Illinois. Auten has close to 300 peonies registered with the American Peony Society including favorites like 'Big Ben', 'Do Tell' and 'Early Scout'.
Had fall color in 2018.
