Paeonia officinalis 'Rosea Plena' 23W20 Peony T2- (Origin Unknown) (2-DB-PK) Peony, Mature plant size: 31in., PINK, Medium height, full double, rose pink petals, large guard petals, narrow notched inner petals, fades, carpels visible w/age, no side buds, early bloomer, USDA Hardiness Zone 3-8, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW20, In Garden Bed T2 for 4.8 YEARS (BloomingB). Planted in 2018.

 

Paeonia officinalis 'Rosea Plena' (Origin before 1907, but could date back to the 17th century) is probably a peregrina x officinalis hybrid cultivar A ancient cultivar also known as the pink 'Memorial Day Peony'. I supposedly have Paeonia officinalis 'Rosea Plena' and Paeonia officinalis 'Rubra Plena'. They look to be the same.
