Thuja occidentalis 'Little Giant' 22W51 Arb R3- (ARB) Eastern Arborvitae Arb, Size at 10 years: 4x4ft., Rich green globe, USDA Hardiness Zone 3, Michigan Bloom Month -, In Garden Bed R3 for 22.7 YEARS (1). Planted in 2000.

 

Dawes: A compact, globose evergreen growing 2' round after 10 years; 10' after many. Leaves are rich, dark green. Has feathery foliage, no winter bronzing. Use in combination with other dwarf conifers or as a foundation plant.

 

Big Box item. Front porch east. The species is native to eastern North America. Small, globe-shaped evergreen shrub. Trimmed to tree shape in 2014. Much more interesting as a managed conifer. Measures ~4x5ft. in 2020. 2022 note: severe trim to one trunk.
